- Rinsing off your produce doesn’t eliminate pesticides: Most of the conventional fruit, vegetable, and grain seeds are genetically modified and sprayed at the first sign of flowering. That means the pesticides that are sprayed on the flowers grow into our food.
- This isn’t your grandparent’s wheat and dairy: Wonder why grandma and grandpa did so great on wheat and dairy, but our generation suffers from IBS, Celiac Disease, and Peptide opiod effects? It’s different! Wheat has been genetically modified to produce high yield and be accepting of herbicides and pesticides. These GMO products have done damage in our generation and, to a greater extent, our children’s. Pasteurized milk may defer bacteria, but it also destroys enzymes that help us digest dairy. Consequently, the nutrition doesn’t get absorbed as the body can not break it down.
- Soy is NOT a health food: Propaganda has overly promoted soy as the “perfect food”. This food causes estrogen dominance and hormonal, digestive, and behavior problems in its excessive use. Although Tempeh, Miso and edamame are good choices, soy isolate protein should be avoided.
- Corn and Sugar feed bacteria: Suffering from gut pains? Stool problems? Excessive bacteria? Corn and sugar will harbor the nasty bacteria that live in our stomachs, intestines and organs. They also suppress the immune system. They should be avoided or reduced. The worst culprit? High-fructose corn syrup!
- Pros and Cons of eggs: Wonderful food, but a frequent intolerance in children who have had vaccine damage. If eggs are used, they must be strictly organic (see chicken below). Eggs are tremendously healthy and a great source of protein. Unfortunately, until the immune system is shifted and leaky gut is resolved, many find eggs to the #1 allergen.
- Garbage In/Garbage Out: If you want to truly heal yourself or your child, there is no area where you can have a greater effect more than food choices. Why would you spend thousands chelating your child, but give them Skittles™ each day? Food colorings and preservatives must be eliminated.
- “It’s Not Easy Feeding Green”: But it’s essential! Three meals a day must include deep green colors. It’s an important way to get our minerals, and keep our stomachs in proper Ph. If you start your mornings with a bit of something green, your tummy will feel better all day. (Lime Jell-O™ doesn’t count).
- Protein three times a day: Especially for growing children who desperately need the amino acids to feed the neurotransmitters. Rotate your meats.
- Organic Chicken and Grass Fed Beef: There are many wonderful meats including ostrich, buffalo, and lamb, but for those who eat large amounts of chicken, beware that most conventional chickens contain large amounts of arsenic and E coli which comes from GRAIN FED Beef. Grass feed is as much as 70 times more nutritious and doesn’t expose the meat to deadly harmful bacteria.
- Make food a priority: Shop together, cook together and dine together. TV off for meals so you can enjoy good conversation: Make it a goal. Your family’s health depends on it!
