But is there more than one form of ADHD?

"Oppositional Defiant Disorder is a ridiculous diagnosis. It is based on behavior. If you are oppositional, you are defiant. They are oppositional and defiant because you're challenging their compulsions and they can't tolerate that."

An excerpt from Dr. Theodore Henderson's presentation, "Diagnosis of and Treatment for Disorders that are Comorbid with Autism (e.g., depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD)", on September 6, 2014 at the USAAA World Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, is posted on the USAAA YouTube Channel. The 6:45 minute video focuses on the huge overlap of diagnoses and what if there is more than one form of ADHD. View video.

Alternative Hypotheses

"A 10 year old boy diagnosed with Asperger's with sudden onset of hallucinations. He got food testing and was positive for egg whites, mustard seed, soy, and pineapple. They got rid of that and they [the hallucinations] went away. But if he eats a hot dog with mustard seen in it, he hallucinates."

Solutions to a Spectrum of Brain Dysfunctions
Approach is Based Upon the Neuroscience of Brain Function

"Virtually all individuals on the autism spectrum have some 'atypical' brain function. Notice here I am not saying there is anything abnormal, just atypical."

An excerpt from Dr. J. Michael Uszler's presentation, "Functional Imaging of the Brain - New Discoveries", on September 6, 2014 at the USAAA World Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, is posted on the USAAA YouTube Channel. The 6:30 minute video focuses on the functional imaging of the brain using a SPECT scan rather than using an anatomic scan. View video.
