Nutrition Tips by Julie Matthews, Certified Nutrition Consultant

julie matthewsDiet for Autism

By Julie Matthews, CNC

Leading experts and parents agree that the process of healing children with autism begins with improving their diet. Dietary intervention is based on sound science, nutritionist’s clinical experience, and parent’s anecdotal reports from around the world. For parents, taking charge of diet is a powerful avenue of healing and a suggested component of any early intervention plan. Read Julie's Blog.

"The fact is that the trajectory of the disorder CAN be influenced by the CHOICES a parent makes regarding treatment and therapies. Things cannot improve until you know that they can!"

Julie Matthews will be presenting Nutrition and Cooking: Guidance for Beginners and Beyond and participating on the Collaborative Multi-Disciplinary Team Approaches for Autism Interventions in Schools Panel 4 on Nutrition Intervention Improving Autism Related Disorders at the USAAA 2013 World Conference.
